Been in a Volvo FE on local and regional runs for a while. The cab is what I notice first every day. Big panoramic windshield, you see a lot at junctions and in tight yards. Ergonomics are decent too, stuff is where you expect it, not a bunch of weird reaching.

I’ve driven the standard cab and the comfort one. Materials feel solid, seats with heat + air suspension help on long days. If you get the version with a bunk it’s fine for the odd overnight, not luxury but you can actually rest.

Power-wise the 7.2L 6-cyl has enough pull for city work and intercity loads, especially in the 260-300 range. Gearbox choice matters: I prefer the manual for control, the auto is ok if you’re in traffic all day. Cruise control is there, plus the usual safety stuff (ABS/EBS), so it feels predictable.

Downside? The truck looks modern and all, but the overall package isn’t cheap to buy into, and you kinda pay for the Volvo finish. Still, day to day it’s easy to live with.
