I've been running a G480 6x6 for a year and a bit, mostly hauling heavy timber. The first thing you notice is climbing up into that cab, three steps and you gotta grab the bar, it's set up high. Interior's good, not fancy but you get what matters, two seats and the bunk's decent for occasional naps-not super wide, but better than some I've used. The heated air-ride seat is probably my favorite thing, stops your back from killing you on bad roads. Controls are right there, nothing you can't reach, and the mirrors staying clear is a plus in winter. Power’s solid, never feels sluggish when loaded, but man it drinks fuel if you're pushing it, I see over 35L/100km easy. Haven't had any breakdowns so far-Scania seems to hold up. Not the cheapest truck to buy or run though, that's for sure. Not sure about the tech bits, but nothing has been a pain yet.

Driving the Scania P-series has been mostly a positive experience. Its safety features, particularly in built-up areas, inspire confidence. The available configurations cater well to varied tasks, and the maintenance package is a valuable inclusion. Still, occasional maneuvering in tight spots could benefit from more refined control mechanisms.

Driving the Scania G480 was a decent experience. The features like air-conditioned cabins and heated seats on pneumatic suspension are lifesavers in long tasks. While the power is evident with the 480 hp engine, the 12-speed manual gearbox requires familiarization over time. The spinning speed limit caps at 85 km/h-okay for heavy-duty but might feel slow on open roads. Sturdy build quality and reliable engine performance make it a dependable truck for specific needs.

Drove the P400 for a few trips, and it handled nicely. The steering and controls are intuitive, making it easy to manage on various terrains. The SCR system for emission control seems effective, noticing a slight improvement in fuel efficiency. The innovative gear oil distribution system prolongs its drivetrain life. One issue: the air pressure requirements could delay start times on cold mornings. Otherwise, it's a dependable ride.

After several weeks behind the wheel of the P-series 8x2, I've appreciated its spacious cab and thoughtful safety features. It's comfortable for long-distance hauls, and the driving dynamics are impressive even under load. That said, access to certain maintenance points in the engine compartment could be more streamlined. It's a truck that genuinely makes you value its well-designed aspects.

Recently operated the G480 on mixed routes in varying conditions. The 12-speed manual gearbox interfaces seamlessly with the engine, but there’s a learning curve to utilize its full efficiency. The cabin layout is driver-friendly, and additional features such as the heated, pneumatic driver seat enhance the experience. The vehicle's dimensions require precise judgment in tighter spaces. Sturdiness and build quality are apparent, making it suitable for demanding tasks.

Got the chance to drive the Scania P360 for a few months. The mechanical aspects are well-built, with the gearbox providing smooth shifts. Maintenance seemed straightforward, although certain components required timely replacements. The spacious cabin design aids comfort during long routes, though some ergonomic improvements might help.

Drove the P-series on regional and city runs. It's easy to climb in and out, which is good because you do it a lot. Standing height’s just alright for me (I’m pretty tall), but the sleeper high roof one is spacious, and if you end up with the basic day cab - don’t expect any real space to lie down. Dashboard layout makes sense, and handling is actually pretty tight in narrow spots. Feels solid, haven’t had any unexpected issues, though it takes a while to get used to the cross-cab access because of that engine tunnel (the low one is better). Lights are good but, to be honest, I’m not crazy about the position lights being so tucked in - makes replacing bulbs a pain sometimes. Maintenance costs are typical, no shocks there. Works for me but could be more comfortable on longer drives.

I had the chance to drive the Scania P280 recently. It’s quite decent for its class. The cab layout is straightforward, but some elements show signs of age. The climate control is efficient, providing consistent temperature even during long trips. However, space inside the cabin feels somewhat limited, especially compared to larger models. Handling is surprisingly nimble, likely due to its unique axle configuration.

Been running the P400 a couple months now, after 15 years with all sorts of trucks. First thing, I like how the cab is set up for the driver - so many mirrors around, really lets you control what's going on, especially for a big rig like this. Air suspension seat is good and you can tweak the position a lot even if you're big like me. Feels roomy for daily shifts but I'll say, not much space for extra gear or a nap, no sleeper section. That's a miss if you're on long hauls. Operation is smooth, clutch travel's about how I like it, gearbox makes sense if you've been around trucks, but nothing fancy like auto or anything. Overall, yeah, solid truck to drive, just don't expect luxury. For the price, I guess it's fair - but everyone wants cheaper, right?
