MAN is already the fourth machine that our travel agency has purchased. We got swayed by the brand, but we didn't consider that the quality of the bus depends on its assembly. We mainly sell machines assembled in Turkey, although the brand itself is European. The first breakdown was with the bushings. It happened after driving 80,000 km. In -15°C temperature, there are problems with starting the engine. We have experienced electronic glitches, but we managed to fix this issue, although it wasn't cheap. The driver's cabin seems insufficiently spacious, but overall, the bus is reliable. We use it every week for long distances (400-500 km).

For 2 years, we have been working flawlessly with the MAN TGA 26.410 dump truck model. This year, we encountered an unpleasant surprise - the handbrake broke. We had to get it fixed at the service center since I have no experience in repairs myself.

A reliable machine that works all year round, even in harsh winter conditions. The handling is good. I was hoping for a lower fuel consumption, although for the old-timers of the L2000 series, such consumption is quite acceptable.

We bought this machine 7 years ago. The first owner didn't drive it very carefully, so we had to fix it afterwards. Then my brother started driving it. Over the course of four years, there were a few minor repairs, but there were no serious breakdowns, considering that the machine is not new. Pay attention to the quality of the fuel. I can also note that the engine starts easily in severe cold weather.

One thing I value in the MAN TGS is its ability to maintain consistent performance under varied loads. The gearbox transition feels seamless, especially during incline drives. Safety features are reliable; however, an improvement in lane-keeping alerts sensitivity would be welcome. Overall, it's reliable for different routes I undertake.

I have been working with the MAN F2000 dump truck for 5 years now. The first thing that caught my attention after purchasing it was the quality of the hoses and electrical wiring fastenings underneath the cabin. You can immediately tell it's European machinery. There's no comparison with Chinese machines. The WP-10 Euro-3 engine runs flawlessly. It also has an engine control unit. The engine itself is adapted to our fuel. Spare parts and consumables are always available for purchase. The prices for them are reasonable.

Had the MAN TGS for a couple of months now, mostly doing runs in and around busy city streets, places where room to breathe is hard to come by. First off, the all-around visibility in this thing makes a big difference in urban driving. Low windscreen is proper handy. Controls are simple and where I need them, but you do notice everything in here is a bit higher to climb into than some Volvos I’ve had before. Annoying with the four steps - you feel it after a long day. Inside, it’s bright and pretty roomy though, got to give credit there. Would’ve liked more electric adjustments on the seat, but comfort is decent once you find your sweet spot. Fuel numbers are solid, I’m saving a little compared to my last DAF. But it’s not super flashy or plush or anything like that, bit plain on the tech, but gets the job done.

Drove the MAN TGM as part of a local delivery operation. Its digital dashboard interface felt intuitive, and the cruise control was effective on the motorway. However, the mirror design seems a bit outdated compared to the competition. Still, it reliability handled the workload assigned efficiently.

Been hauling long-distance with the MAN TGA, mine's with the D20 engine. Reliability is a mixed bag. Engine's solid for 300-600k km, but after that you'll see oil burn, maybe big repairs by 600k if you push it. Heard of folks getting to 800k before a rebuild, but that's not everyone. Fuel system can be picky, don't put in dodgy diesel or you'll get trouble with the injectors - those aren't cheap to fix. I do the valve adjustments every 100-150k, better to play it safe. The electrical stuff is annoying, especially the wiring harness to the injectors - seems they cut corners there. It drives well, gearbox is smooth, and the brakes (with the retarder) work like they should. Not my favorite suspension, little soft compared to older MANs, but still good. Not cheap to run but it's not terrible either. If you keep up on service, it'll do its job. Just know what you're getting into.
